Technomage Deutsch Patch
TechnoMage Patch 1.04 (deutsch)Wer trotz der Installation des Patches 1.02 feststellen musste, dass in Sunflowers TechnoMage Dinge aus dem Rucksack verschwanden, NPCs.
You could always just install it and use patch 1.02. Im assuming you installed from the original and then updated to 1.04? Nope, I only installed it. No need to upgrade, though I tried looking (because I always like to have my games up-to-date), but the only patch I found to upgrade to the latest version was for the Dutch, I think; I really had to look in several sites.
When I used the TMDiagnostic.exe, it would show: 'Version: 1.04 ENG'. That's why I stopped looking for an upgrade, and started looking for the No-CD fix. When I bought it, it was a bargain, but it was like new. I guess I could try using the fixed executable v1.02, but I don't know which fixes does v1.04 include over v1.02, and that's what makes me think twice before trying, specially coming from a game that warns me that it isn't compatible with Windows 2000 (I'm using Windows XP SP3) just right before installing it. Anyways, thanks!
As is Metzen, in my opinion. Who has listed Knaak as one of his major influences, which in itself speaks volumes about the sort of stuff to expect.
Technomage Quotes
Point is, we can't ignore what goes on 'behind the scenes' because it does have a major effect upon the overall storyline. Kalecgos is a prime example. I utterly despise him, but I'll tolerate him because he shows up in game and the lore dictates that he is what he is. It's also not going to be much longer until the rest of the 'comic crew' and novel characters show up. I don't see what's wrong with being a technomage. It's a matter of taste, really.
Serious mage roleplay that doesn't heavily involve neutral factions, archmages/magisters and gimmicks is a rarity at the best of times. I'd rather see more simple, standard mages. I see your point, I do. And I agree as well.

I am quite happy with Idreal being nothing other than a simple, standard mage, as far as simple mages exist, who does not approve of all this neutrality nonsense;) However, being a Goblin mage and all, I believe this works really well, maybe even better than being your average arcane flinging wizard. But that's just my opinion.
