I use and find it works pretty well. I haven't compared its results to those of MIK's or any other programs but it matches together songs that sound good well enough.
It doesn't use the same Camelot Key Wheel as MIK but you can change what it writes to the tags in the preferences. I've done exactly that so it writes the keys to the comments tags in the song files like. Another tip for using it- when you've ran the analysis the tags won't appear in the comments sections of your tracks straight away in iTunes. You'll need to right click them convert ID3 tags ID3 tag version 2.4 and then it changes them.
I hope that helps! And remember, it's common sense don't always rely on the program to decide for you which songs sound good together - if it doesn't sound good don't mix it. Thanks for the detailed response I will certainly try this out. To be honest I'd rather just have the key written in classical style e.g Abm or whatever. I've been mixing for years without worrying about the key and just knowing which of my tunes work with each other, but now that I've upgraded to DVS I feel like it would be an extra useful tool, especially for longer mixes and more melodic and tonal music. Does it happen to grab BPM as well by any chance? I'm thinking about spending a while setting up loads of smart playlists in iTunes, and bpm would probably be a good way to catch all, say, DnB.
Although if you have any other suggestions on how to organise my collections I'm very open. Yeah it can write them in the normal style too. It doesn't do BPM sadly (that'd be neat) but the other guy that replied to my comment is a Pioneer rep and he just hinted at there being a Pioneer alternative being announced tomorrow, which will most probably be part of Rekordbox, which analyses BPM as well and can probably write it to the tags so your best bet is probably holding off until then!
I feel you, brother, regarding organising your collection. I really need to do that some day but I've just never gotten round to it. Hmmm that does sound exciting. Hopefully it won't have a pioneer price-tag to boot. I only have a few hundred digital tunes atm anyway, but its growing quicker and quicker (as my wallet shrinks smaller and smaller) and it's already starting to feel messy and tedious. With vinyl it was easy, I put them in boxes and know which 30 or 40 tunes are in each box, and I can pick them out pretty quickly by the cover.

Finding tracks with them all just bulked together in traktor is just starting to feel really sloppy and I want some nice ways to keep it organised. That being said, I know it can be done just got to put the time in I suppose. Since you're a Pioneer rep (the most widely used brand for industry/club standard DJ equipment), and you're posting in one of the most popular and active websites, I think it will be a great idea to start a thread here or, asking for suggestions and what the DJ community want from Pioneer. You won't even have to prioritize on which idea to work on first because the upvotes for the comments will do that for you! Just a thought. I personally have quite a few ideas which I think others would agree with and appreciate, even if they are just the smallest/simplest of ideas:).

I hope you'll understand that Pioneer are very receptive of ideas from our user base (we've implemented a lot of ideas from our forums so far) but we would rather you send us those ideas privately than posting in a public forum where other companies could see such suggestions. I understand that sometimes sending an email you get no response so it seems pointless but I assure you, everyone of them are read (by myself included). If you wish to PM me ideas that would be fine. ninja edit Reddit is obviously as much yours as it is mine so you are free to start a suggestions thread if you wish and while I would certainly review it, I couldn't really take part. /ninja edit.
