Fallout Patch 1.2 Eng Teamx
Oct 11, 2011 Fallout Series TeamX Fallout 1 Unofficial Patch Version 1. The game after installing 1.2 and/or 1.3.x TeamX patches. Have FALLOUT Version 1.2 (19.
In the main menu screen, it still shows as being version 1.2, how do I know if its been patched properly? I extracted the files from the patch, which I downloaded from the No Mutants Allowed download link for the patch, then went ahead and took the files out of the extracted folder and moved them into the program folder, and overwrote all the files and etc. The readme is there obviously for the patch in the main program folder and Data folder, but how do I check to see if the game is patched to 1.3.4 without seeing it as 1.3.4 in the main menu screen?.edit. Also when trying to patch it seems the normal methods of me dealing with the color and display problems don't work anymore, and my save files don't work anymore either, so I'll have to start over a playthrough soon, and find a solution to the patch stuff. Its possible I could be trying to patch it wrong, so if anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated. The last of the mohicans youtube. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated. If you installed it as instructed in the readme it should work. One of the patch notes says for shady sands 'Restored the original developers idea of Aradesh reaction to pickpocketing: now he doesn't attack player, only warns him and lowers his dialogue reaction.' So you could save and try pickpocketing him and see what happens. Its also pretty early in the game.
As for the colours, I fixed those by installing the widescreen mod from no mutants allowed and changing the colour setting to 16 bit in the new graphics options it gives you. Ralackk: If you installed it as instructed in the readme it should work. As for the colours, I fixed those by installing the widescreen mod from no mutants allowed and changing the colour setting to 16 bit in the new graphics options it gives you. I'll take a look at the readme again and see if I'm doing it right. I already know a few methods to get the colors to work, and I already know about either installing the widescreen mod and changing the color setting to 4 in the.ini file. Its just for some reason after trying to apply the unofficial patch the normal methods I used don't work anymore, and last time I used the.ini file fix (which was for Fallout 2) it looked like the graphics in the opening cutscenes weren't as good. And I think when I tried changing the.ini file the display issues were still happening, but this was only after I tried applying the unofficial patch.
So at this point it would be pretty difficult to use the Aradesh solution if I'm having problems with the display right now, what I need to know is how to figure out if I applied the patch correctly.edit. Well I went ahead and edited the.ini file, and got the display to work, however the movies were corrupted, the graphics look quite worse overall, and some of the displays for things don't look very good. sigh Looks like I may have to buy the game from GoG and reinstall it to my computer now and uninstall what I have now. Eyeball226: As much as I like supporting GOG, I don't believe they've done anything to make it run better.
Fallout 2 Official Patch
In fact, with all the patches I've installed I must have overwritten the.exe I got from GOG many times. Actually the reason I say that is because the old copy that I used to install the Fallouts I have now was the Fallout Trilogy Collection, which after I installed it I gave to my brother so he could try them out. Since they were installed using a DVD Rom, I didn't need the install disk to play them, so now I have no real way of re-installing it now. Had I anticipated there being problems with the Team X patch, I would've kept the disk. Waltorious: I have not tried the TeamX patch with the GOG version myself, but from these forums it seems like most users do not have any trouble getting it to work.
Fallout 4 English Patch
So getting the GOG version might help. Also, it's not very expensive, and you do get some cool extras. I understand not wanting to buy the game again though.
My main issue with buying the GoG version isn't buying it again or the price, but it being the censored UK version with no children, so I have to apply extra patches for Fallouts 1 & 2 to be like the US versions. Waltorious: I actually believe that only Fallout 2 is censored on GOG. It is unfortunate, but according to the forums it is not too hard to patch the game to remove the censorship. You're right its not very hard, I just hate having to do it every single time, since its been difficult for me as it is to try getting unofficial patches and mods to work and still have the game display correctly. Its a huge pain in the ass, considering the GoG version without the unofficial stuff installed displays just fine.
